We Love KC

Image
It feels like it's been forever since I have last written a blog. I sit down to write, then get distracted. The babies are getting big so fast, but it seems like Aria is growing up right in front of my eyes. We are still loving our "Mommy and Me" dance classes that we do together every week. Aria gets to see her friends and we both get to leave the house. Win-win! I'm hanging on to the weather still staying so nice and booing the thought of winter being here before we know it. I will bundle the two of us up for walks for as long as I can. Aria was also doing so well with potty training that we were out of diapers except for night time sleeping, but the past couple of weeks she has regressed. I know this is completely normal, but I started a sticker chart in hopes to motivate her to get back to it. It seems to be working. She gets excited to pick out her sticker and put it on the chart.  In baby news, the boys' 3-6 month clothes

I Will Be Here (For Aria)

"I Will Be Here" By Steven Curtis Chapman Tomorrow mornin' If you wake up And the sun does not appear, I will be here If in the dark we lose sight of love Hold my hand And have no fear 'Cause I, I will be here I will be here When you feel like bein' quiet When you need To speak your mind I will listen And I will be here When the laughter turns to cryin' Through the winnin', losin' and tryin' We'll be together, 'cause I will be here Tomorrow mornin' If you wake up And the future Is unclear I, I will be here As sure as seasons Are made for change Our lifetimes Are made for years So I, I will be here I will be here So you can cry on my shoulder When the mirror Tells us we're older I will hold you And I will be here To watch you grow in beauty And tell you all the things You are to me, I will be here I will be true To the promise I

Livi Love

Miss Livi, you crack me up. You adore your big sis. She's always making you laugh! You demand to be the one who is closest to Momma at all times. You are not the sleepiest, unless on Momma's chest. Then all bets are off, lights out. Your playfulness is infectious. You have the smallest appetite, because you are just pint-sized. You are so intrigued by books. You're the first out of the carseats... and the first to smile. You're the last to bed and first to rise. Mommy and Daddy love you.

3 Months: Changing It Up

Image
Three months! Three months! I can't believe they're 3 months already. Three months of age has brought some change to the schedule. It gives me a bit of anxiety changing it up, but this week we are trying something new. This includes sleeping 6 hours at a time at night- yessssss! Our schedule- due to change at any time with any sign of a nervous breakdown: 0615 Aria wakes 0700 triplets wake 0730 triplet bottles 0800 sit upright to reduce the amount of spitting up 0830 tummy time 0900 nap time for triplets 1030 triplets wake up and play 1130 bottles 1200 story time with sitting up 1230 nap time for Aria and hopefully the triplets too (Some days one stays awake, then falls asleep and another one wakes up immediately after) 1430 everyone wakes. 1530 triplet bottles 1600 play, tummy time, mat time, swing rotation 1930 bottles, bed 0200 bottles <watch baseball somewhere in between> repeat It seems like they are napping better with the 4 hour
