Happy November! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. Since the babies eat at 7 pm, my mom and I went to a few early trunk-or-treats with the kids. Aria had a sweet time. The babies didn't care for it much. They wanted to be home sleeping. And of course we wanted to be home in time to see the Royals win Game 3 of the World Series. While watching the Mets lose, Aria helped us pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. She squealed with excitement every time the doorbell rang. Aria got to stay up an hour later last night because of the time change. This didn't make her sleep in any later. She was up at 5 am, ready to take on the day in her ruby-red slippers. I never knew before becoming a parent just how terrible the time change could be. Can we please get on board with Arizona and not participate in this ridiculous tradition anymore? I didn't have a chance to blog yesterday, but I don't want to miss a day of thankfulness just because I spent the day with friends at the Chiefs game. This leads me to Day 2 of thankfulness: I'm uber thankful for a strong, Christian-based marriage. The two of us have numerous things in common- a love of sports being one of the many. Levi is my rock, my right-hand and my best friend above all else. On Day 3 of thankfulness, a friend posted this. It does ring true. On a day like today, where I woke up feeling like I caught my daughter's cold, it was a dreary day, and of all other things- a Monday.  These things generally don't make a thankful person. Today, however, I would like to be joyful for something as simple as waking up to a new day and living in the present. (Side note: Advil Cold and Sinus is incredible. Take it when you start to feel crummy and it really does help make you feel better!) Have a great Tuesday!

Happy November, everyone! You may have noticed that in the past, people have used Facebook to to tell the world what they're thankful for every day of the month. Let's continue this tradition right here at Tiff's Turn. :) For November 1, I am dedicated this day to my beautiful miracle baby. I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems cliche, but every parent knows that "They grow up too fast." She's no baby now. She makes me laugh every day. She lifts my spirits whenever I need it. She reminds me that our God is greater than any battle we face. What are you thankful for today?
