Merry Christmas, all. I hope Santa treated everyone well. It's safe to say we made out nicely. As always, Christmas kept us on-the-go with one event after another. December is always a jam-packed month of busy. Here is a list of my favorite things about the Best Month of the Year. seeing Santa and playing at Bass Pro I am having so much fun with the triplets now they they are this age. I no longer feel like I'm stuck in a prison (as much), unable to do much of anything fun with my children. My Birthday There's nothing better than being able to spend time with my family and my friends making time for me to celebrate another candle being added to the cake. A Mommy-Daughter Date Aria and I got to see the "Trolls" movie together. Popcorn and lemonade makes it easy for a three year old to sit through a two-hour movie. Did you know if you write down three things you're thankful for everyday, you will notice a positive difference in your level of happiness within three weeks? (I leaned this in church this week.) Psalm 100:1-5  Since I am on Day Three of Whole30 today, I thought this practice of writing down three things that make me happy every day would go well with my new diet. Yes, there is no shame in being thankful for watermelon on a hot day like today. Really, all three go hand in hand after spending a couple hours at the zoo with friends. We tried to stay inside as much as possible, but Aria loves the train rides. People always stop and ask us, "Are they twins? Oh they're triplets? How do you do it?"  I usually respond about drinking wine every evening, but now that I'm on the Whole30 challenge, that isn't happening. More than wine, though, I miss the Mio Energy drink. Good morning! How was your Easter? It was so great to be back at church this weekend. With all the work it takes to get everyone out the door on time, it feels like a great victory after it's been accomplished. I miss my church family so much, but I miss my orchestra family and playing my violin even more. I'm glad everyone seemed as happy to see us and the kids as I was to see them. The triplets did so well during the service. Each one of them were wide-eyed and watching during the music portion, then during the sermon they fell asleep. I suppose that's not so entertaining to 8 month-olds. (Sorry Pastor Brandon.
