What Kind Of Baby Is Aria?

Aria is a... SATURDAY NIGHT SHOPPING BABY CHURCH BABY AVOCADO BABY Every time I brought the spoon to her mouth she would crack up. What a silly girl! "GIVE ME THAT BINKY" BABY "PUSHING-THE-SWING-WITH-MY-FEET-IS-ENTERTAINING" BABY As for me, I wasn't sure how I would feel running this evening after going on a 6.2 mile run yesterday. I went anyway and it was the best run ever. It felt amazing! I even broke three of my records from this one run alone: Yeah, a 9:09 mile. That's incredible for me. When the Nike app told me that I ran my first mile in 10:30, I raised the roof and let out a "whoop whoop" right there in the street.  Little did I know my last mile, mile 4, would be my fastest ever! I am also neck-and-neck in my November mileage competition with Kim. As for Gus, he's had a rough day. First of all, every time he goes down the stairs to go out for a po...

Peas!

It was so hard to leave this beautiful baby this morning! Once we got home, we had great fun playing. Give me that remote! We used the Baby Bullet for the first time and I am so happy with it! The Baby Bullet comes with a very helpful little handbook on what foods to feed your baby, what age to feed her certain foods and the best ways to puree.  Since Aria was having peas for the first time tonight, we made a small batch in the little cup. Once I know more about how she reacts to each food, I can make larger batches in the bigger cup and even store food in the freezer in the handy trays that come with the Bullet.  To get started on peas, Aria got to test out the high chair for the first time.  "Is this a carseat? I hate the carseat!" Take the first bite... wonder what that weird-textured stuff is... then think, "Hey, this isn't so bad!" Just watch:  :) After peas and a bath, this baby girl was...

Labor Day Weekend

Image
Here is my Labor Day, laboriously long post: This weekend our school district gave us a 4-day weekend to celebrate the holiday. It was amazing to have all that extra time with Aria. More exciting news in our family this weekend is that my little sis moved into her gorgeous,  brand-new house. Levi and Colbin were a big help for them, but Aria and I were not. Eventually, we just went home so were weren't in the way, but this made us both miss Daddy. Baby girl had another first this weekend: her first Huskers game party! Her Grammy gets the channel that has the college football game on, so we made a celebration out of it. #Winning It wouldn't be Labor Day without two things: good food and a pool.  I spent all my extra 49 Weight Watchers Points in one day because I wanted to drink pina coladas and eat this fabulous dessert I made. It was a hit!  And so was t...
