New Years: The Un-Resolution Edition

Image
Happy New Year! 2015 has been a superb year.                                                           Have you set any resolutions for 2016? I, personally, hate resolutions. It is usually something we do and are really great about it for a couple weeks. Then it's "finito" to that resolution. Therefor, the year of 2016 will be the year of the un-resolutions for me. 1. I will not be giving up coffee. Like... at all. I finally became a grown-up and started drinking coffee when the triplets were born and you know what? It's my favorite part of the day. So even though coffee dehydrates me, I will continue to drink it anyway. 2. I will not stop posting pictures of my miracle children. If you're reading this blog, you will most likely be feeling good about this non-resolution. People who hate babies and life in gener...

Busy Bees

The Gilmore squad has been busy! Aria started preschool last week. She's only going one day a week right now, but she loves it and has a blast! We have transitioned the boys out of our room at night and into their cribs. Livi lasted about 4 hours in a crib, so she is back in our room. We are working on it, but as of right now she won't have any of that. She didn't get the nickname Dragon for no reason, after all. Well, I just strapped them in carseats and had to listen to them cry for a little bit.  Dragon Livi cried the whole way there, but once we arrived at our destination, everyone was happy happy happy. I think the babies and Aria thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ai...

Sleepy Friday

Image
Friday was supposed to start out with reading time of Aria's brand new kids' Bible. Page one, "In the Beginning" and she decided to rip the page right out. I guess that's why this book says it's for older kids, not babies. Aria is teething again, which means sleeping a good chunk of the day. When she wasn't asleep, I was able to get her out to do some errands around town. Stop one was Price Chopper, which has fun carts for the kids. Who knew? It's funny how you don't even notice things like kid carts at a store you're at all of the time until you have a kid of your own that's old enough for one. She was so cute, turning the wheel like a real driver. All I really needed to do in Price Chopper was drop off our RedBox movies, but I went ahead and walked up and down every aisle so she could "drive". After another nap, it was lunch time. I'm still a little nervous about letting Aria try...
