Summer Lovin'

Image
Hi, friends. Livi and Henry would like to share some exciting news with you. Livi has had her helmet off for about a month now  and Henry just a couple of weeks, but yesterday was our last visit to Hanger Clinic because they are officially done with their cranial molding! Just look at these beautifully shaped heads. The before and after pictures tell the story. Livi's Before: Notice the asymmetry on the right side of her head. Livi's After: She went from 15mm of asymmetry to 4mm.  Also, take a look at her proximal growth on the top of her head compared to what it was before the helmet. Henry's before: (It's pretty much the same as Livi's.) Henry's After: Amazing improvement and we are so thankful for a great experience with the Hangar Clinic . We are also thankful for summer. Our social life has greatly improved because of school being out and teachers on break. We've already had three play dates this week!...

While Daddy is Away...

How was your week? I don't know about you, but I can't stop hearing Prince songs in my head over and over- the soundtrack of my childhood . RIP, Prince. On to happier news, it looks like Livi has just about a week left of wearing her helmet! Then Aria can dress her up however she wants. It doesn't bother her one bit to have the cranial band on, but I do believe it bothers her when it is off. No matter, not having to work around the helmet will be one less thing to worry about. Henry will probably need about three more weeks for his. The #1 reason why I'm stoked to get rid of the thing is because cuddling will be way easier. For everyone. Until then, we are hanging together and trying to get through a weekend without Dad while he is gone for turkey hunting. The kids and I are anxiously awaiting for him to be home today. At least we have had nice weather while Levi has been gone. I'm starting to take the kids outside every day, even i...

It's Easier, but It's Harder

Hi all. Happy spring! I'm sure you're like me and wishing it would get pleasantly warm and stay warm. We are ready to get outside more often and soak up the vitamin D.  We have been trying to make the best of being indoors. One way I do this is making sure Aria has special time out of the house. She still gets excited for Mommy and Me dance class every week. Sometimes she gets to go to birthday parties. This time she went with Daddy. Apparently jumping around on a trampoline for an hour is exhausting. Before you know it, I won't have a toddler and three babies. It will soon be four toddlers. The baby phase ending makes some things a little easier, yet more difficult at the same time. For example: Easier: sitting up on their own Sitting up opens up a world of new possibilities for us, like being able to play with Aria while we create works of art with out home-made, edible paint . harder: the th...
