While Daddy is Away...

How was your week? I don't know about you, but I can't stop hearing Prince songs in my head over and over- the soundtrack of my childhood . RIP, Prince. On to happier news, it looks like Livi has just about a week left of wearing her helmet! Then Aria can dress her up however she wants. It doesn't bother her one bit to have the cranial band on, but I do believe it bothers her when it is off. No matter, not having to work around the helmet will be one less thing to worry about. Henry will probably need about three more weeks for his. The #1 reason why I'm stoked to get rid of the thing is because cuddling will be way easier. For everyone. Until then, we are hanging together and trying to get through a weekend without Dad while he is gone for turkey hunting. The kids and I are anxiously awaiting for him to be home today. At least we have had nice weather while Levi has been gone. I'm starting to take the kids outside every day, even i...

9 Month update

Image
Good morning! I'm taking a break this morning from planning and creating things for Aria's birthday party coming up. It's time to document the triplets' 9 month stats. Here we go... Livi height: 28.5" (81 percentile) weight: 17 pounds, 9 ounces (26 percentile) What's Livi up to lately? The easier question to answer may be what is Livi not up to? ~ standing ~pulling herself up ~clapping ~crawling (EVERYWHERE. And fast.) ~ being the life of the party The pediatrician said she's about a month ahead of the boys. We are guessing she will be walking sooner than we are ready for her to. Now that's she's crawling and more active, I need to start feeding her three meals a day before her bottle so she can bump up her calories. This seems extremely challenging fixing food for all of them on top of also doing bottles because I can't feed Livi and not the boys. They would riot. So far, I...

New Years: The Un-Resolution Edition

Image
Happy New Year! 2015 has been a superb year.                                                           Have you set any resolutions for 2016? I, personally, hate resolutions. It is usually something we do and are really great about it for a couple weeks. Then it's "finito" to that resolution. Therefor, the year of 2016 will be the year of the un-resolutions for me. 1. I will not be giving up coffee. Like... at all. I finally became a grown-up and started drinking coffee when the triplets were born and you know what? It's my favorite part of the day. So even though coffee dehydrates me, I will continue to drink it anyway. 2. I will not stop posting pictures of my miracle children. If you're reading this blog, you will most likely be feeling good about this non-resolution. People who hate babies and life in gener...
