5 Things I love About 15 Months

Aria recently turned 15 months. I adore this age. She has a beautiful personality, makes me laugh and is the light of our lives. Here are five other things I enjoy about our little girl lately...

1. Aria is a wonderful mommy to her baby doll. 


She feeds her, shares her binky, blanket, drinks and all her toys. A even has the instinct to rock her baby and give her kisses. Watching her play Mommy makes my day.


2. Aria is losing what I call her "Zombie Walk" and gaining a more natural, speedier stride. She's very independent, but still likes to go on walks holding my hand.


As sports fans in this household, we are excited to see Aria be such a great ball-player.


3. She'll play catch with you all the live-long day.


4. Bird-watching isn't just for adults. Aria studies birds everywhere we go and calls out, "Chirp chirp!"



5. She is an outgoing people person, especially with kids. She is absolutely delighted when other young people are around, especially her big brother and cousin.


Time goes by so fast. She's no longer a little baby. She's now my little girl. Blessed.

Accomplishments of 34 Weeks

How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but we still had time to play. Sunday was our annual Freedom Celebration at church. Since I'm not playing in the orchestra, I got to sit back and enjoy watching for the first time in the 8 years I have been attending our fabulous church.  We've made it to  34 weeks   so far. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! I'm incredibly proud of these babies! As usual, the babies all got great reports today and passed their tests with flying colors. Baby A: Livi heart rate: 132 She was actually the first to pass her NST today instead of being last like usual. Baby B: Beckett heart rate: 137 Beckett was the sleepy one today. He needed the noise stimulation during the Non-Stress Test, but then woke him up and he passed. He is so squished that we couldn't get any pictures of him today. 5 Month Camera Roll

Happy 5 months to my baby girl! Here's the pictures from our photo shoot today. I just thought this look was funny! Like she's saying, "I've got my eye on your Grandma and Grandpa..." She's happy now, but last night she was up for 3 hours. I could feel two teeth poking through: one on the top gums and one on the bottom. It was a long night. The good news tonight is the heat in the weather finally broke. It was such a nice evening, we sat outside for a little while. Look how funny Aria thinks Gus is when he fetches the ball. The video didn't catch her adorable laughing, but it's still pretty cute. In running news, I jogged 2 miles this evening- no stopping! Jogging has been a real struggle because all the extra weight I'm carrying feels more like 500 pounds instead of 27, but tonight was a success. That's 3 jogs this week!  Here's to keeping it

And We're Crawling

Aria has been filling my days up this week. The 6-9 month wardrobe is in the process of being boxed up. We're on to 9-12 month clothes, and stealing Daddy's hats. Last night, my niece, Jillian celebrated her 11th birthday with us at Olive Garden.                                             Aria always likes a party, but how excited she gets when she sees my mom is the true entertainment.  I'm thankful I got to spend the evening with my niece and the rest of my family. After that great night, Aria was up at 4:30 AM. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that she has four teeth coming in. Ouch. Since we were up at 4:30, I decided to have a fashion show of the clothes we bought Aria last night. Her 9 month professional photo shoot is Saturday. That calls for a new outfit. Although I purchased 9-12 month sizes, this outfit is just too tight. The 12-18 month shirt fits just right. Back to the
