As for me, I wasn't sure how I would feel running this evening after going on a 6.2 mile run yesterday. I went anyway and it was the best run ever. It felt amazing! I even broke three of my records from this one run alone:




Yeah, a 9:09 mile. That's incredible for me. When the Nike app told me that I ran my first mile in 10:30, I raised the roof and let out a "whoop whoop" right there in the street.  Little did I know my last mile, mile 4, would be my fastest ever!

I am also neck-and-neck in my November mileage competition with Kim.



As for Gus, he's had a rough day. First of all, every time he goes down the stairs to go out for a potty break, he slides and face plants into the wall.

He also peed on the floor right in front of us. It's safe to say he has not done this since he was a puppy, pre-potty trained. The medicine he has been on makes him very thirsty and drink a ton of water. His cough is pretty much gone, so I am going to quit giving him that steroid tomorrow and see how he does.

Aria and I felt Gus's need for some cuddle time, so we caved.

Accomplishments of 34 Weeks

How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but we still had time to play. Sunday was our annual Freedom Celebration at church. Since I'm not playing in the orchestra, I got to sit back and enjoy watching for the first time in the 8 years I have been attending our fabulous church.  We've made it to  34 weeks   so far. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! I'm incredibly proud of these babies! As usual, the babies all got great reports today and passed their tests with flying colors. Baby A: Livi heart rate: 132 She was actually the first to pass her NST today instead of being last like usual. Baby B: Beckett heart rate: 137 Beckett was the sleepy one today. He needed the noise stimulation during the Non-Stress Test, but then woke him up and he passed. He is so squished that we couldn't get any pictures of him today. 5 Month Camera Roll

Happy 5 months to my baby girl! Here's the pictures from our photo shoot today. I just thought this look was funny! Like she's saying, "I've got my eye on your Grandma and Grandpa..." She's happy now, but last night she was up for 3 hours. I could feel two teeth poking through: one on the top gums and one on the bottom. It was a long night. The good news tonight is the heat in the weather finally broke. It was such a nice evening, we sat outside for a little while. Look how funny Aria thinks Gus is when he fetches the ball. The video didn't catch her adorable laughing, but it's still pretty cute. In running news, I jogged 2 miles this evening- no stopping! Jogging has been a real struggle because all the extra weight I'm carrying feels more like 500 pounds instead of 27, but tonight was a success. That's 3 jogs this week!  Here's to keeping it

And We're Crawling

Aria has been filling my days up this week. The 6-9 month wardrobe is in the process of being boxed up. We're on to 9-12 month clothes, and stealing Daddy's hats. Last night, my niece, Jillian celebrated her 11th birthday with us at Olive Garden.                                             Aria always likes a party, but how excited she gets when she sees my mom is the true entertainment.  I'm thankful I got to spend the evening with my niece and the rest of my family. After that great night, Aria was up at 4:30 AM. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that she has four teeth coming in. Ouch. Since we were up at 4:30, I decided to have a fashion show of the clothes we bought Aria last night. Her 9 month professional photo shoot is Saturday. That calls for a new outfit. Although I purchased 9-12 month sizes, this outfit is just too tight. The 12-18 month shirt fits just right. Back to the
