Sweet Potato!

Image
Today's adventure involved sweet potatoes. Yes, Aria got to try one for the first time. She didn't seem to care much for it. Not sure if you can really hear it, but she continuously stuck out her tongue and said "bleh!" after each bite. Tehehehe. We'll try again tomorrow...and the day after that... and the day after that.  Life is funnier with a baby who rolls lots and lots.  With Aria rolling off of her playmat more than actually enjoying the ocean life to look at, I decided to put a blanket on the floor.  This way, she can roll as much as her heart desires. We're still working on sitting up. This takes lots of practice. She's getting there... Have a great evening!

W eight Watchers 20 pounds lost so far and my first weight-loss goal has been reached! A ria pre-work cuddles Friday morning Friday night, we celebrated Matt's birthday with sushi. This is how good it was. The birthday boy. Aria usually steals the show, no matter whose birthday it is. Don't you just love a relaxing Saturday when you don't have a million errands to run? And when you get lots of family or baby time? Baby girl got to try out her Baby Einsten jumper for the first time.  She wasn't really sure what to do right away. She likes to pick her feet up off the floor instead of jumping so far. All that playing will wear a girl out! Eventually, we did have to hit the road to Colbin's first game of the season, which they won! The heat was oppressive! Time to get home and play more! Aria rolls and scoots so much now that she doesn't stay on

Finally! My internet connection at home is working. Now I can blog my heart out! The big news for today is Aria rolled over for us! She did roll over again in her crib this morning, then yelled out of frustration, but we haven't been able to see her do it- until tonight! At first it was a little difficult. But then we kept practicing, and it got easier! We were thrilled to see her rollin'! While I'm at work, all I can think about is getting home to this face. The first thing we do is read together. Sometimes we just hang-out and talk to each other about our day. Aria and I try to give Gus some of our time too. "Move Gus! I can't see the TV!" "Oh hi!" "I'm gonna get your nose!" "Darn, I missed." "What big teeth you have..." Since the first day of school Tuesday, Aria has taken a nap with me at some point in the evening. It's so g
