It's the Weekend and the Livin's Easy

There has been no walking or running since Wednesday. I seem to have pulled a muscle in my foot, which makes walking in general difficult. Not cool. Hopefully it gets better soon so Aria and I can hit the pavement again.

Without a morning walk Friday, I decided to take Aria to the breastfeeding support group that Centerpoint Hospital has every Friday at 10 am. Taking her allowed me to

  1. weigh Aria
  2. socialize
  3. get out of the house
Aria weighs in at 11 pounds, 6 oz. now! 

Since Aria still hasn't met her great grandma and grandpa Gilmore, we took her out to Nevada, MO. Levi's dad, step-mom, and little sister live in Nevada also, so they took us to dinner at our favorite Mexican place, Iguana Azul.

With weight watchers, the best thing for me to order was the chicken/steak/shrimp fajitas and not eat the tortilla shells and rice. I even had great will power and didn't eat any chips.


Unlike Levi, who ordered the Vote for Trina and shared with his dad.



At the end of the day, I still stayed within my Points.

Accomplishments of 34 Weeks

How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but we still had time to play. Sunday was our annual Freedom Celebration at church. Since I'm not playing in the orchestra, I got to sit back and enjoy watching for the first time in the 8 years I have been attending our fabulous church.  We've made it to  34 weeks   so far. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! I'm incredibly proud of these babies! As usual, the babies all got great reports today and passed their tests with flying colors. Baby A: Livi heart rate: 132 She was actually the first to pass her NST today instead of being last like usual. Baby B: Beckett heart rate: 137 Beckett was the sleepy one today. He needed the noise stimulation during the Non-Stress Test, but then woke him up and he passed. He is so squished that we couldn't get any pictures of him today. One week down and we are bouncing off the walls over here.  I'm so thankful we have the internet to get us through this social distancing. Thanks to wifi, we've been doing daily kids' yoga. Friday it was Moana yoga. Of course Livi had to quickly change into her Moana outfit to fit the part. I'm thankful for wifi so we can have screen time to have a break from hearing my name yelled over and over. Hopefully the weather will be nicer this week so we can be outside more. I'm thankful for wifi so we can have group chats with our friends on Facebook Messenger using silly filters. I'm thankful for wifi so I can follow others on Instagram who love to use their bullet journal as a coping mechanism. I thought this page was a great one to copy down into my own journal and use daily while stuck at home. I'm thankful we finally found more milk. (No, we aren't hoarding. Social Distancing and Fresh Air

Hasn't the weather been superb the last couple days of social distancing? On days two and three of COVID-19 hunkering down, we got to walk with Minnie and pick flowers. Fresh air is good for the soul. I guess it's pretty good for the immune system too. Aria started complaining of a sore tummy later in the day today, but she made it outside for a bit anyway. Still in her jammies, no less. Livi doesn't quite understand social distancing yet, but she never lets me forget to help her find her hat for going outside.  Maybe she just thinks she looks more stylish in her hat than without. For "school" we started ABC Mouse online. All four kids really enjoy it. As soon as the boys woke up this morning, they were asking to play on it.
