Firecrackers and Costa Ricans


The weekend was merry with so many different adventures. 

Friday night, Aria got to go to her first drive-in movie.


Colbin sat outside for the movies while we stayed snuggly inside the car.


Saturday we did our usual grocery shopping. Definitely not something to write home-er blog- about, except that now that I am eating healthier, our kitchen kinda looks like we live in the jungle.


Tomorrow is weigh day. I'm a little nervous about weighing since I gained a pound last week, but it will get done.

Saturday we had a blast shooting off some fireworks. The boys actually did all the blasting,




while I sat warmly in a chair under a blanket,


monitoring Aria's monitor. 


The only time I saw her move was when scaredy-cat Gus knocked on her door wanting in.

Levi's Granny was in town from Iowa this weekend. Her friend Carlos is also here from Costa Rica. Carlos stayed with Granny as a foreign exchange student in the 80s. Carlos is here with his whole family visiting Granny, so we paid them all a visit.

Accomplishments of 34 Weeks

How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but we still had time to play. Sunday was our annual Freedom Celebration at church. Since I'm not playing in the orchestra, I got to sit back and enjoy watching for the first time in the 8 years I have been attending our fabulous church.  We've made it to  34 weeks   so far. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! I'm incredibly proud of these babies! As usual, the babies all got great reports today and passed their tests with flying colors. Baby A: Livi heart rate: 132 She was actually the first to pass her NST today instead of being last like usual. Baby B: Beckett heart rate: 137 Beckett was the sleepy one today. He needed the noise stimulation during the Non-Stress Test, but then woke him up and he passed. He is so squished that we couldn't get any pictures of him today. Baby C: Henry  heart rate: 152 As always, Henry is running around all over the place and the life of the part

5 Month Camera Roll

Happy 5 months to my baby girl! Here's the pictures from our photo shoot today. I just thought this look was funny! Like she's saying, "I've got my eye on your Grandma and Grandpa..." She's happy now, but last night she was up for 3 hours. I could feel two teeth poking through: one on the top gums and one on the bottom. It was a long night. The good news tonight is the heat in the weather finally broke. It was such a nice evening, we sat outside for a little while. Look how funny Aria thinks Gus is when he fetches the ball. The video didn't catch her adorable laughing, but it's still pretty cute. In running news, I jogged 2 miles this evening- no stopping! Jogging has been a real struggle because all the extra weight I'm carrying feels more like 500 pounds instead of 27, but tonight was a success. That's 3 jogs this week!  Here's to keeping it

And We're Crawling

Aria has been filling my days up this week. The 6-9 month wardrobe is in the process of being boxed up. We're on to 9-12 month clothes, and stealing Daddy's hats. Last night, my niece, Jillian celebrated her 11th birthday with us at Olive Garden.                                             Aria always likes a party, but how excited she gets when she sees my mom is the true entertainment.  I'm thankful I got to spend the evening with my niece and the rest of my family. After that great night, Aria was up at 4:30 AM. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that she has four teeth coming in. Ouch. Since we were up at 4:30, I decided to have a fashion show of the clothes we bought Aria last night. Her 9 month professional photo shoot is Saturday. That calls for a new outfit. Although I purchased 9-12 month sizes, this outfit is just too tight. The 12-18 month shirt fits just right. Back to the
