I have Pageant rehearsal every night this week. I don't have much time to blog tonight, so I am leaving you with pictures from the past 5 days. We had a great holiday!

A Random, Middle of the Week Post

I didn't think this Wednesday would be such an eventful day. Once the tornadoes started to hit in our town and other towns around KC, the power went out in our house, so I started blogging from my phone out of boredom. Once the power came back on, we went back downstairs to check on our freezer and turn off the lights and got another unpleasant surprise: our brand new basement has flooded. I could seriously cry. I'm praying the laminate floor will be ok despite all the water. Since I'm so upset about that, I will finish writing and maybe that will help me get to sleep. Before the tornadoes and flooding, I thought today was eventful for small reasons. Aria and I had a visit from a friend this morning who came bearing gifts. Mary Lee brought us a big meal to freeze. Guess what else she brought to go in the freezer until after the babies are home? Chocolate chip cookies! I take Aria to the library every Wednesday for story time. And We're Crawling

Aria has been filling my days up this week. The 6-9 month wardrobe is in the process of being boxed up. We're on to 9-12 month clothes, and stealing Daddy's hats. Last night, my niece, Jillian celebrated her 11th birthday with us at Olive Garden.                                             Aria always likes a party, but how excited she gets when she sees my mom is the true entertainment.  I'm thankful I got to spend the evening with my niece and the rest of my family. After that great night, Aria was up at 4:30 AM. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that she has four teeth coming in. Ouch. Since we were up at 4:30, I decided to have a fashion show of the clothes we bought Aria last night. Her 9 month professional photo shoot is Saturday. That calls for a new outfit. "You're Growing Some Big Babies!"

We are at the 20 week mark! Today was another growth scan on the triplets. All babies looked great! Baby A: (As always, not the best pictures from baby girl.) Heart rate: 145 weight: 13 ounces Baby girl is measuring right on target!  Now for the boys... Once the sonographer informed us Baby A is right on track with growth, she proceeded to study the boys and then commented, "Wow, you're growing some big babies!" Both boys are measuring an entire week ahead! This is fabulous news.  Baby B: Heart rate: 138 weight: 15 ounces I have labeled this baby as the ornery boy. Anytime I bend over, he kicks back and kicks back hard.  "Quit squishing me mom!" The sonographer said he is right under my ribs, so this is probably why he doesn't like me bending over. Baby C:  Heart rate: 153 weight: 15 ounces You'll have to look closely at his picture, but Baby C was sucking away on his fingers. Adorable!...
