Pink and Black

I've enjoyed my 3 day weekend! On this rainy day today, I went to Hobby Lobby to look at bows and headbands since I've heard they have a lot of cute ones there. I ended up leaving Hobby Lobby with a lot more than bows.

It was hard to decide which headbands to choose, but here's what I came home with:


I like that the bows and bands can be mixed and matched. Endless possibilities! There was also a sweet lady that gave me her extra 40% off coupon that could be used on all these bows. Score!

All lamps and shades were 50% off. Since Levi mentioned the other night that a good solution to the low-lighting in Aria's room would be to get a floor lamp, I made the executive decision to purchase this as a need:

I learned on Pinterest tonight that these are great to clip bows to. I'll give it a whirl.

Her room is filling up! Levi was happy that it was all on sale and even Gus approves.


After this day of shopping, I changed my mind on what I want for Aria's bedding. I've wanted pink and black colors all along, but I was concerned with being on pink overload with the Cinderella bedding from Babies r Us. I spent some time online and finally found something I think I can be happy with.

I like the black- the pink doesn't completely take over. Hopefully I won't change my mind again.

Accomplishments of 34 Weeks

How was your weekend? Ours was busy, but we still had time to play. Sunday was our annual Freedom Celebration at church. Since I'm not playing in the orchestra, I got to sit back and enjoy watching for the first time in the 8 years I have been attending our fabulous church.  We've made it to  34 weeks   so far. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! I'm incredibly proud of these babies! As usual, the babies all got great reports today and passed their tests with flying colors. Baby A: Livi heart rate: 132 She was actually the first to pass her NST today instead of being last like usual. Baby B: Beckett heart rate: 137 Beckett was the sleepy one today. He needed the noise stimulation during the Non-Stress Test, but then woke him up and he passed. He is so squished that we couldn't get any pictures of him today. Leave Room 4 Llama

One week down and we are bouncing off the walls over here.  I'm so thankful we have the internet to get us through this social distancing. Thanks to wifi, we've been doing daily kids' yoga. Friday it was Moana yoga. Of course Livi had to quickly change into her Moana outfit to fit the part. I'm thankful for wifi so we can have screen time to have a break from hearing my name yelled over and over. Hopefully the weather will be nicer this week so we can be outside more. I'm thankful for wifi so we can have group chats with our friends on Facebook Messenger using silly filters. I'm thankful for wifi so I can follow others on Instagram who love to use their bullet journal as a coping mechanism. I thought this page was a great one to copy down into my own journal and use daily while stuck at home. I'm thankful we finally found more milk. (No, we aren't hoarding. Social Distancing and Fresh Air

Hasn't the weather been superb the last couple days of social distancing? On days two and three of COVID-19 hunkering down, we got to walk with Minnie and pick flowers. Fresh air is good for the soul. I guess it's pretty good for the immune system too. Aria started complaining of a sore tummy later in the day today, but she made it outside for a bit anyway. Still in her jammies, no less. Livi doesn't quite understand social distancing yet, but she never lets me forget to help her find her hat for going outside.  Maybe she just thinks she looks more stylish in her hat than without. For "school" we started ABC Mouse online. All four kids really enjoy it. As soon as the boys woke up this morning, they were asking to play on it.
